The Legend of Zelda: Triforce of the Gods

Showing his actions during the game, these illustrations give an impression similar to that of Adventure of Link. When in the game itself, Link looks closer to the original Legend of Zelda.

One of these illustrates that Link has been made able to tug at devices. When wearing the Pegasus Boots, he can also run right into objects!

With Ganon defeated, Link sets on a journey of training. While on his voyage, Link encounters a storm, washing him up on Koholint Island. In order to return to Hyrule, Link gathers the Siren instruments scattered throughout the island. The objective of your mission is to hatch a giant egg with the instruments. With Princess Zelda or the Triforce having nothing to do with the game, Dream Island takes on a side story like approach. The GBC version (DX) also went on sale, featuring color tailor made for the system.

Link
Appearing like a sequel to Triforce of the Gods, Link looks about the same as the Super Famicom game. By looking at the pattern of his shield, one can guess this is the same Link. Having lost his luggage while drifting in the sea, it ends up washing ashore.

The young Kokiri boy, Link, sets out to face Ganondorf. Pursuing for the Triforce, Ganondorf is set on realizing his ambitions of ruling over Hyrule. This is the biggest change to the series yet, as an immense field world has been constructed of polygons. In this adventure, Link is controlled with the viewpoint behind him. It's also available on the Virtual Console.

Link (Adult)
This is Adult Link, 7 years older than his child form. His adventure further expands when reaching this point. There are also scenes where he goes back to being a child.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Living in Kokiri Forest without a Fairy to call his own, Link was treated as half a man. The Deity of Protection, the Deku Tree, sent the Fairy Navi to accompany Link...as 'The Warrior to Protect Hyrule' began his adventure.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

With the character of Link becoming three dimensional, his actions have become more diverse. The sword can be swung from both horizontal and diagonal positions and he can also jump sideways and backwards.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Many actions are carried over, such as the spin slash and pushing objects. With more ways to overcome obstacles, should we abandon our preconceptions going into this game?

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Performing jumping slashes and more, further emphasis is placed on the concept of height. Link can also get on his favorite horse, Epona!

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

(Translation note: The original text incorrectly stated Link travels forward through time by returning the sword and travels back by uprooting it. I changed the text to match the events of the game.)

Link (Child)
By sticking the Master Sword back into the ground, Link travels (back) over a 7 year period. By uprooting it, he can also go forward 7 years in time.

Price:
4800 Yen

Hardware:
Game Boy Advance

A coupling of the Super Famicom's [Triforce of the Gods] and the original GBA title [Four Swords]. [Four Swords] is played with 2 to 4 people. Connecting everyone's software allows for simultaneous play. In order to rescue Princess Zelda, who has been captured by Vaati, Link uses the the Four Sword to split and divide himself. During the game, rupees are gathered.

Triforce of the Gods - Link
Titled after the Super Famicom port, this new illustration was provided. Link's pupils have enlarged from the SFC version, giving a gentler impression. Displaying many of the same poses, it's interesting to compare both versions.
